She is an enthusiastic supporter of the Finger Lakes wine region, and leads many tours to the local wineries, breweries, organic farms, cheesemakers, and other locavore destinations. She owns a business called“UNCORKED”, which focuses on wine education. Currently, she is working part-time in one of Rochester’s long-time favorite wine shops, Marketview Liquor, where she serves as a wine consultant and is featured in many of the store’s educational wine-tasting videos on-line.

Holly loves to teach and has an enthusiastic and fun approach to learning.
Ann is a graduate of the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese at the University of Vermont, and is certified in basic cheesemaking. In her role as a cheese educator, Ann shares the story of the life of cheese, touching on points from cheese basics to the art of pairing and plating.
Ann opened The Little Bleu Cheese Shop in 2012 to increase awareness around artisan cheese and food producers in the Finger Lakes region and beyond. By promoting and sharing the stories of cheesemakers, she was instrumental in creating a cheese community in Rochester. At the end of 2015 she closed the shop, launching Little Bleu Catering & Events, and now devotes her time to educating and helping others find their cheese bliss through classes, presentations, special events and cheese catering.
In 2016, Ann earned the Level II Award in Wine & Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust, and is tasting her way through European wines. She strongly supports the local food movement through Community Supported Agriculture programs (CSA’s) and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty. Additionally, Ann is a member of The Northeast Organic Farmers Association-NY; the Cheese and Dairy Society of New York State and the American Cheese Society. She maintains an associate membership in the Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance (formerly the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail).
Outside the classroom, Ann is involved in urban farming initiatives and healthy eating education programming in the city of Rochester, and is a member of the Grow Green Team for the Southwest Area Neighborhood Association. Ann enjoys teaching, entertaining, cooking and trying new recipes that incorporate her favorite food – cheese.
